Dates, times, and locations TBA
Our library performances are especially family-friendly and playful, featuring interactive dances designed to spark imagination, movement, and joy for younger audiences—while still delighting all ages.
Boise Raks showcases traditional Middle Eastern dance styles—including Egyptian Raks Sharqi and folkloric forms—mixed with familiar and contemporary music. Performers wear traditional folkloric costuming that is conservative, culturally respectful, and appropriate for all audiences.
Thanks to the generous support of the Boise City Department of Arts & History and Starbelly School of Dance, all Boise Raks events are free and open to the community.
Join us for a day of dance, music, and connection!
