10am-12pm-Folkloric Fusion: The Romani Romp! Learn spicy dance combinations in a joyful choreography, which are also fully cue-able in an Improvisational Tribal Style Bellydance format. Your nomadic dance wanderlust feeds on these effusive moves inspired by the cultures along the Romani Trail.
1pm-3pm-Sacred and Symbolic: Slow phrasing in taqsim dance. Inspired by temple dances and shamanic traditions, this powerful phrasing lends itself to ceremonial or ritual movement. Incorporate meaning to your dance vocabulary that adds depth emanating from within. Fill your slow vocabulary with intention and go deeper.

Elsanne is a Tribal Style Belly Dancer and teacher born in California in 1972. American by origin, she brought her love and passion for dance to San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, Mexico in 2001.
With a BA in Pedagogy from Western Oregon University and an M. Ed. (Master of Science in Pedagogy) from Northern Arizona University, she develops "Tribal Teachers" , a successful Tribal style teaching course at the national level. national that consists of more than 100 hours of class, exams, and shows, currently in its 21st generation with more than 170 graduates in several countries. Her Libélula academy opens its doors in 2008 in San Miguel de Allende.
Her primary teachers are Terri Walden of Salamat Tribal in Prescott, Arizona, Katarina Burda of Aywah! and Bal Anat, San Francisco, CA, and Myra Krien of Mosaic Dance, Santa Fe, NM. Other influential guides and teachers are Kathy Stahlman, Karim Nagi, and Amy Sigil.
